About Optune Lua™
Optune Lua™ delivers alternating electric fields without increasing chemotherapy-related side effects. Electric fields are tuned to specific frequencies that disrupt cells’ ability to multiply.
Optune Lua™ requires no regular maintenance. It should be used for as many hours as possible per day, and can be carried around with you in a bag for use in your daily life.

Optune Lua™ generates low-intensity, intermediate frequency, alternating electric fields. These electric fields are delivered to the site through transducer arrays that are placed on the upper body.
Optune Lua™ is comprised of two main components, an electric field generator, and transducer arrays.

Patient Assistance Program
Founded by experienced pharmacists in 2007, the Hong Kong Pharmaceutical Care Foundation is a registered non-profit charitable organization.
It approves applications for the Optune Lua™ patient assistance program, which helps patients in need and allays their worries by providing financial support.
Applicants must be a holder of a Hong Kong identification card and have a prescription issued by the doctor. For more information about requirements, please contact the foundation.

Upon a successful application
The Hong Kong Pharmaceutical Care Foundation will contact the eligible applicants and Optune Lua™ support team.
The Optune Lua™ support team will follow up on the patient assistance program.
